The grapes here are sourced from the Machede plains in the centre of the Alentejo region where the soil consists of clay and schist.
The Relvas family also owns cork and olive trees. The winery is 98% carbon neutral and they avoid using pesticides and herbicides by having sheep on the property.
The red is a blend of Alicante, Bouschet, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira.
Awarded: Portugal Trofeu De Vinho Gold 2018.
